Some ideas for the future

A big thanks for those who made it on Saturday morning.  I know it was encouraging for me to just stop and re-focus on Jesus for a while.  Thanks to Graeme K or his leading the time.

I know there were a couple of apologies given but can I say just how disappointing the turnout was... I say that because we are supposed to be Presbyterian.  That implies we are not congregationalists, we should be able to meet together, to fellowship, to worship to support one another.  For those who couldn't make it but wanted to be there I've made a couple of notes that you may want to be aware of.

Date of Next Meeting:
Saturday 21 November.  More details t.b.c.  If this date is free for you please put it into your diary.

Plans for the future:
As a Youth Presbytery we have opted for 2 large events: one is a gathering of our youth groups for a day of fun and fellowship; the other is an evening that would be more focused to outreach, specifically for your own youth to practice their peer-to-peer skills.
The Fun Day would be held around the end of April / beginning of May time; the evening event would not be until the autumn of 2010.

Can you think of a name for these events?  Send in your ideas as comments to this post.

Feedback:
One thing that we don't want to happen is that some congregations may feel they don't get a voice amongst the others.  So please use this forum to tell us about yourself; to leave comments; ask questions; just to say something so that we either know we are going the right way or to correct us away from the wrong direction.
If you want to be a contributor to this blog please let us know and we'll sort that out.

Until next time, Peace
